About the Role
The Welder role involves welding and fabricating conveyor components within Terex’s fabrication department, adhering to safety standards and supporting lean manufacturing efforts. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. • Weld and fabricate conveyor components in the barrel of the fabrication department. • Comply with all safety rules and regulations. • Participate in lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction activities. • Work first‑shift hours (6 am‑4:30 pm, Monday‑Thursday) with overtime on Fridays and occasional weekends. • Stand, crouch, and bend for more than ten hours a day. • Lift up to 40 lb; use an overhead crane for larger items. • Perform repetitive motions such as tightening bolts and nuts. • Work in a high‑noise factory environment with exposure to welding smoke and chemicals. • Read tape measures and blueprints. • Use air, power, and hand tools, especially torches and grinders.

What You Bring
The job is physically demanding, requiring extended periods of standing, bending, and lifting, and exposure to a factory environment with noise, heat, and welding fumes. Candidates need a high‑school diploma or GED; relevant welding training and experience are preferred, and applicants must demonstrate proficiency through an internal welding test. Successful welders must be able to interpret technical documents, read tape measures and blueprints, and operate various tools while demonstrating mechanical aptitude. • Hold a high‑school diploma or GED; MIG and stick‑welding vocational training desired. • Have MIG and stick welding experience and pass an internal welding test. • Demonstrate mechanical inclination.
