About the Role
As a Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will service and repair essential equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, and other vehicles used at our recycling facilities. Your work ensures safe, efficient operations for a network that serves over 20 million customers across the United States. • Participate in a company stock purchase plan. • Follow a Monday‑Friday, 7 AM‑3:30 PM shift at the Show Low, AZ disposal facility. • Repair and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company vehicles. • Diagnose and fix differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions, drives, air‑conditioning, and electrical systems. • Perform preventative maintenance according to site checklists. • Complete required paperwork including work orders, card files, PM checklists, and oil samples. • Service auxiliary equipment like light plants, water pumps, and welders. • Meet the physical demands of frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and standing. • Work independently, taking accountability for quality and standards. • Operate safely in environments with noise, dust, odors, weather extremes, and exposure to chemicals. • Work both indoors in garages/shops and outdoors under inclement weather conditions.

What You Bring
The role requires a minimum of six years’ heavy‑equipment maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Candidates must be at least 18, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical. Travel may require a REAL ID or an approved TSA alternative, as the position could involve air travel to service federal property. The company supports all eligible employees in obtaining the required identification.
