About the Role
The position supports inspection, acceptance, and rejection of work across structural steel, electrical/instrumentation, mechanical, and piping disciplines, ensuring compliance with codes such as AISC, AWS D1.1, ICEA, IEEE, ISA, NEC, NFPA, and requiring CWI certification for welding inspection. Inspectors must be able to work in elevated areas and perform bolt‑up verification using Skidmore‑Wilhelm tools, as well as review architectural, insulation, grout, epoxy anchor, and concrete installations. • Assist material handling personnel with material storage and preventive maintenance requirements. • Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective procedures. • Support company strategic planning activities. • Prepare Quality Control Inspection Test Plans (ITP). • Perform control measuring and testing of equipment. • Verify installation of systems, components, and equipment per assigned discipline. • Stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Interact with people frequently during a shift. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of a shift.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least one year of construction experience and one year of quality‑control inspection experience, a high‑school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required for structural and piping welding inspections. The role requires regular use of personal protective equipment, the ability to reach above shoulder height, bend, stoop, and climb ladders, and frequent physical tasks such as lifting, handling, and using measuring tools. It is classified as safety‑sensitive, demanding strict adherence to all safety standards and procedures. • At least 1 year of construction experience. • At least 1 year of quality control inspection experience. • High school diploma (HS Degree) required. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. • Wear required personal protective equipment (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest). • Reach above shoulder height and below waist frequently. • Classified as safety‑sensitive due to tasks affecting safety and health.
