About the Role

The position involves reading blueprints, identifying necessary tools and safety measures, fabricating and installing piping systems, and performing quality tests. Successful applicants will work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring compliance with Zachry safety rules and contributing to the team’s overall performance. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals to determine material needs and work scope • Identify required tools and safety precautions for each task • Fabricate, install, and fit pipe, valves, hangers, supports, and flanges according to plans • Perform tests to verify pipe and system quality • Hoist loads using appropriate rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and hooks

What You Bring

The role requires a minimum of four years of experience as an industrial scaffold builder with solid pipe‑fitting knowledge and the ability to read and interpret prints. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, strong communication, and a history of working on industrial construction projects while adhering to safety standards and company values. • Demonstrate 4+ years of industrial construction/maintenance and pipe‑fitting experience • Exhibit strong problem‑solving abilities, manual dexterity, and reading comprehension • Communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors; work well independently and in teams • Commit to Zachry values and adhere to safety rules and regulations • Preferred: Zachry ROF’ed or former employee, NCCER certification as an Industrial Pipe Fitter, and formal technical education
