We are recruiting for multiple road maintenance positions to support ongoing maintenance and hazard/emergency response commitments throughout the region. The roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work, travelling across regional South Australia, and performing a variety of tasks to a high standard with a strong focus on safety. Candidates should be motivated to help the community through quality maintenance practices. They must hold a current Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid licence, possess a Construction Induction (White Card) and ideally hold current traffic control tickets. Proven ability to operate mobile plant, machinery and equipment in road maintenance, willingness to work night shifts, emergency call‑outs and weekends, and proficiency with tablets and smartphones are also required. Experience leading teams to achieve productivity targets is essential for the Leading Hand role. • Senior/Road Worker – based in Murray Bridge, Loxton, Naracoorte, Sturt, Nuriootpa and Walkley Heights • Leading Hand – based in Naracoorte, Murray Bridge and Loxton • Must hold a current Medium Rigid or Heavy Rigid driver’s licence • Must have a Construction Induction (White Card) and preferably current traffic control tickets • Proven experience operating mobile plant, machinery and equipment in road maintenance • Willingness to work night shifts, emergency call‑outs and weekends as required • Ability to use tablets and smartphones for technology‑based tasks • Experience leading teams to meet productivity targets (for Leading Hand role)
