Production Service Technician - Birmingham

About the Role

The technician drives a company truck, performs hourly‑wage work and can earn commissions from installations. Responsibilities include accurate measurements, repairs, and assessments for products such as gutters, windows, vinyl siding, bathrooms, and attic insulation. The tech assists the Production Manager, maintains the vehicle, supports installation crews, and helps in the warehouse when service work is complete. • Drive and maintain company truck, ensuring cleanliness and timely service. • Perform accurate measurements, repairs, and assessments for gutters, windows, siding, remodels, and insulation. • Assist the Production Manager and collaborate with installation teams as needed. • Support warehouse operations: cleaning, organizing, unloading trucks, and prepping materials. • Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve 100 % satisfaction. • Provide detailed client feedback upon job completion. • Arrive on schedule, ready to work, and uphold company core values. • Utilize power tools, metal brake, and measurement instruments (tape, level, square).

What You Bring

Candidates must be self‑starting, detail‑oriented, and comfortable interacting with customers. Required skills include a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, carpentry or renovation experience, ability to use power tools and take precise measurements, and basic computer proficiency.
