About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Assessor to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team. The role involves desk‑top audits of subcontractors’ claims to verify work complies with contract technical specifications. Reporting to the Performance and Reporting Manager, you will help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support essential services. The position offers a broad scope, requiring accurate and efficient work to meet timelines, adherence to Downer’s Quality Management System, and exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders. You will also engage in quality‑improvement initiatives and support the training and onboarding of new team members. Downer plans, creates, and sustains essential public services across Australia and New Zealand, managing critical infrastructure such as hospitals, data centres, and defence partnerships.
