About the Role
The Machine Operator performs basic duties related to wiring harnesses. Routine duties include selecting fit sizing, assembly operations, quality inspections following control plans, reaction and SPC charts, continuity testing, gauge checks, machine set‑ups, basic troubleshooting, manual material handling and 5S activities. Non‑routine duties may involve sorting and inspecting suspect material, processing rework, assisting other product lines, and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader. • Perform wiring harness assembly, including fit sizing and component installation. • Conduct quality inspections using control plans, reaction charts, SPC charts, continuity testing, and gauge checks. • Set up machines, troubleshoot basic issues, and handle materials manually while maintaining 5S standards. • Sort and inspect suspect material, process rework, and assist other product lines as assigned.

Applicants must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have at least one year of experience in a mechanical trade or harness work, with prior soldering experience or willingness to undergo soldering training. Position criteria require the ability to lift up to 35 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting.
