Install, maintain and troubleshoot ITS and traffic signal systems for SA roads.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on traffic signal systems. • Work with traffic signal controllers, PLCs, and electrical switchboards. • Perform electrical installation testing and issue Certificates of Compliance. • Read and update technical drawings and manuals. • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients. • Operate independently and collaboratively within a team. • Maintain accurate records, timesheets, and documentation. • Use laptops/tablets, Microsoft Office, asset‑management software, and electronic interfaces. • Uphold environmental, quality, and safety standards. • Conduct inspections, maintenance, fault finding, installations, cleaning, and learn new equipment. • Provide flexible availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as road work permits require.

We’re looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join our dedicated team, working on the front line of Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS) and Traffic Signal Infrastructure. This role involves installation, maintenance, and fault‑finding of critical systems that support road safety, traffic flow, and smart city technologies across the state. • Hold a valid SA Electrical Licence. • Apply knowledge of Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS). • Experience in road and traffic environments (preferred). • Contribute to financial estimates and budgeting (preferred).
