About the Role
Daily duties involve working in a team‑oriented, safety‑first environment, using hand and power tools, and performing elevated work with fall‑protection equipment. Technicians must operate industrial vehicles (forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts), install, repair, and maintain electrical components such as lighting, protective devices, motors, inverters, and control systems, and follow all company and customer safety guidelines. Specialized responsibilities include calibrating and documenting instrumentation for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical measurements, troubleshooting process control loops, and executing wire‑pulling tasks such as terminating motor starters, installing conduit, and fitting cable trays in accordance with NECA 101 standards. • Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment. • Perform wire‑pulling, terminate motor starters, and install conduit and cable trays per NECA 101. • Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts safely. • Follow safety protocols including PJHA, observation processes, and fall‑protection requirements. • Complete time accounting, work orders, and other administrative duties accurately. • Maintain a documented personal tool inventory and adhere to company tool list standards. • Work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends, as needed. • Meet physical demands: lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, wear respirator, and handle noisy, hazardous conditions.

What You Bring
The role requires independent work on assigned tasks, compliance with regulations, accurate time‑keeping and work‑order completion, and maintaining a documented personal tool inventory. Effective communication with team members and positive customer relations are essential. Candidates should have 2‑5 years of electrical experience or 1‑2 years of related education, with a preference for electronics or industrial electricity backgrounds. Ability to obtain a State Journeyman Electrical License and ISA CCST Level 1 certification is expected; a tool list will be provided at employment. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders or scaffolding, operating hand and power tools, wearing respirators, and working in noisy, hazardous conditions with exposure to chemicals, heat, cold, and electrical shock risk. The work environment may involve extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and occasional extreme weather. • Calibrate and document flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation. • Possess 2‑5 years electrical experience or relevant education; able to obtain Journeyman license and ISA CCST Level 1.

The Industrial Electrical Technician position is located in Blair, Nebraska, offering a salary between $24‑$42.24 per hour depending on experience. Work schedules can be Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday from 7 am – 5:30 pm, or a standard Monday‑Friday 7 am – 3:30 pm shift.
