About the Role
The Assistant Manager supports the Profit Center Manager by applying Sunbelt policies, focusing on maximizing profitability and ensuring efficient, effective operations of the profit center. Key duties include assuming responsibility for the profit center in the manager’s absence, assessing daily equipment purchase needs, adjusting weekly sales plans, maintaining DOT and safety compliance, performing dispatch and yard inspections, communicating equipment availability to OSRs, CSRs, and the shop foreman, and preparing various reports such as daily contract and asset disposal reports. The role also involves daily team management to ensure goals are met and company standards are followed, as well as completing additional tasks assigned by the Profit Center Manager.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high‑school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 1‑2 years of rental‑industry experience or a business‑management degree. The position requires physical abilities such as bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting 50 lb or more, and it offers a base pay range of $74,509–$102,450.
