About the Role
• Architect and coordinate cyberspace capability development for rapid joint operational product delivery. • Perform software engineering, vulnerability research, and offensive/defensive cyber operations analysis. • Conduct capability testing and generate test reports before operational deployment. • Develop and automate unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests and maintain test documentation. • Execute static and dynamic analyses, including network traffic and PCAP review, to identify security threats. • Automate documentation (docs‑as‑code) and maintain technical manuals for software, systems, and testing. • Work directly with customers to gather requirements, produce system engineering artifacts, and deliver specifications. • Provide detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders. • Design virtual test environments, configure hypervisors, containers, and OS/network flows.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Developer with DevSecOps and docs‑as‑code expertise to support specialized military cyber operations. The role is a critical member of a small team that will apply high‑level software development skills to offensive capability development and assessment for Windows and Linux environments, contributing to national security missions. The position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and at least eight years of cybersecurity experience, including five years of programming in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby, as well as extensive experience in DevSecOps, virtual test environment design, and agile/scrum processes. Candidates with a master's degree, twelve or more years of experience, and deep knowledge of Windows/Linux internals, forensics, and malware analysis are highly desired. • Hold an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. • 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on vulnerability mitigation. • 5+ years of programming/scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby. • Extensive DevSecOps experience using GitLab pipelines, linting, testing, and docs‑as‑code. • Proficiency in offensive capability development for Windows and Linux platforms. • Experience working in agile/scrum environments. • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (desired). • 12+ years of cybersecurity experience (desired). • Knowledge of Windows/Linux internals, kernel programming, and host‑based/network forensics. • Experience with malware development, binary analysis, exploit development, and red teaming. • Ability to analyze network protocols and shellcode across all layers.
