About the Role
The employee ensures unit standards for quality and productivity by checking proper assembly, installation, and charging procedures for components such as EVAP coils, compressors, and control boards. They train team members to assemble sub‑assembly components accurately and quickly, maintain up‑to‑date schedules, and verify work order packets. They confirm parts availability, approve paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks, and ensure all documentation is signed off by Quality Team Leaders. The role includes enforcing warehouse safety and housekeeping standards, inspecting blueprints and assembly drawings, and communicating effectively with management and the team. The employee monitors work environments, performs minor repairs and adjustments, and provides production backup support as needed. Additional responsibilities involve completing AAON’s Quality Team Leader (QTL) program, demonstrating leadership and motivational skills, and offering problem‑solving assistance for production and employees. What You Bring
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and may benefit from additional education. The position requires the ability to meet physical demands, assess work accuracy and color detection, and communicate proficiently in written and spoken English. Physical demands include standing still for most of the shift, lifting and moving objects weighing 25‑50 pounds, operating heavy equipment, and performing repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions. Work is performed in environments with humidity, loud noise, dust, and extreme temperatures, often involving ladders, tight spaces, and forklift traffic. • Meet minimum education requirements: 18 + years old and high school diploma (higher education a plus). • Demonstrate physical ability to stand most of the time, lift 25‑50 lb objects, operate tools, and work in noisy, humid, and extreme temperature environments. • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
