About the Role

The role’s primary purpose is to maintain and operate machinery, including conventional, special‑purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment such as grinders, drills, and presses. Employees select the correct processes based on prescribed rules or prior practice and seek supervisor guidance for non‑routine issues; decisions are reviewed by senior staff under close supervision. • Operate assigned machines such as resistance welders, brake presses, mechanical power presses, saws, drills, and grinders. • Meet production targets while maintaining a clean and safe work area. • Pack, load, and unload finished materials and verify workpiece specifications. • Complete process monitoring and production ticket documentation accurately. • Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed. • Follow safety procedures, read technical instructions, and use basic math and measuring tools.

What You Bring

The work environment is generally comfortable but involves exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, fumes, and occasional heavy lifting (50+ lb) and physical exertion like standing, stooping, and climbing. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with 0–2 years of related experience preferred; 1–3 years’ experience is also considered.
