What You Bring
Driver/Plant Operator Blackwater Concrete Plant is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver/Batcher to join their team. In this role you will be involved in delivering, batching, housekeeping, risk assessing and various yard duties. You will be based at the Blackwater Concrete Plant reporting to the Plant Manager and operate a fleet of Agi trucks. Applicants must hold a HR licence (essential) and preferably have prior driving experience; a front‑end loader ticket is highly regarded. The role suits people who enjoy meeting new clients, appreciate variety, can quickly learn new systems, and take pride in keeping their vehicle clean and presentable. Candidates must also pass a pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test. • Travel within Central Queensland; meals and accommodation provided as required. • Hold a HR licence (essential) and preferably a front‑end loader ticket; pass pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol test.

The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a base rate of $35.51 per hour plus overtime penalties (1.5× after 8 hrs, 2× after 10 hrs). Rental assistance of $400 per week, superannuation and allowances are also provided. Occasional night shifts and weekend work are required, with Saturday overtime rates applied. Typical days start at 6 am and run over 10 hours, totalling around 55‑60 hours per week. Monthly travel within the Central Queensland region may be required, with meals and accommodation supplied. The company provides cutting‑edge technology for route mapping and load tracking, and all new starters complete a 10‑day training program before operating independently.
