About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports property maintenance, handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic tasks, and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. The role requires daily on‑site attendance, responding promptly to work orders, maintaining common areas, performing pool upkeep, and ensuring safety and compliance with Asset Living policies and OSHA standards. • Attend on‑site daily and respond to resident/management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic maintenance, including pool cleaning and chemical logging. • Execute make‑ready and turn‑over tasks, schedule and assist with maintenance/repair events. • Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify and correct hazards. • Maintain and organize the maintenance shop, monitor inventory, and uphold safety and OSHA standards. • Participate in unit inspections, on‑call emergency response, and general upkeep of office and model units. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Record service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, preventative maintenance, and make‑ready status accurately. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and Asset Living policies.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and familiarity with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The position involves physically demanding duties such as lifting 100+ lb objects, climbing ladders, and working in varied weather conditions, with on‑call availability for emergencies and a reliable personal vehicle. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

Benefits
