About the Role

The Quality Systems Engineer will ensure that mechanical and electrical components, structures, assemblies, and mounting systems of switchboards meet Schneider Electric standards, technical specifications, and relevant regulations. The role includes validating mechanical assemblies against drawings, bills of materials, torque specs, and assembly instructions, while leading problem‑solving efforts for customer complaints using methodologies such as 8D, Kaizen, and Six Sigma. Continuous improvement is a core focus; the engineer will drive corrective and preventive actions, develop quality documentation like PFMEA and control plans, and lead large‑scale re‑engineering projects (Kaikaku) to reduce non‑conforming parts and customer returns. Responsibilities also encompass interfacing with customers on product concerns, coordinating with suppliers and engineering, and reporting weekly and monthly quality KPIs such as PPM and rejection rates. • Ensure compliance of switchboard components with standards and regulations • Validate mechanical assemblies per drawings, BOMs, and torque specifications • Lead root‑cause analysis for customer complaints using 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma • Implement corrective and preventive actions and drive continuous improvement • Develop quality documentation such as PFMEA and control plans • Conduct internal audits and apply ISO 9001/14001/45001 quality systems • Lead Kaikaku or large‑scale process re‑engineering projects • Report weekly/monthly quality KPIs (PPM, rejection rates) to senior management • Interface with customers to resolve product concerns and ensure satisfaction • Collaborate with suppliers and engineering to reduce non‑conforming parts

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering and have at least three years of experience in quality systems engineering, preferably within manufacturing or prefabrication. Required expertise includes low‑voltage switchgear design, ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards, Six Sigma tools (PFMEA, control plans, 5‑Why/8D), audit techniques, and strong Excel proficiency. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Electronic Engineering • Minimum 3 years experience in quality systems engineering, preferably manufacturing or prefabrication • Knowledge of low‑voltage electrical switchgear design and manufacturing • Proficiency with Six Sigma tools (PFMEA, control plans, 5‑Why, 8D) • Strong Excel/MS Office skills • Experience in auditing, training, and process implementation • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage projects • Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication, and attention to detail • Advanced English proficiency
