About the Role

• Provide leadership, strategic/managerial direction, and guidance to achieve established financial and growth goals for the discipline. • Responsible for overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction, and quality of work. • Develop, execute, and lead discipline marketing and business development strategies in collaboration with the marketing and business development teams. • Work with leadership to build a production team. • Evaluate and monitor budgets, billing, and collections. • Monitor backlog of work and resource sharing to maximize staff utilization; address underperformance promptly. • Foster staff professional development, monitor staffing/recruiting activity, and manage employee relations. • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. • Serve as project manager and resource for staff on assigned projects, managing scope, schedule, quality, and budget. • Provide technical assistance and supervision in preparing proposals and contracts for assigned projects. • Prepare and present information for client/agency meetings as needed. • Develop staff skills and abilities necessary for successful execution of work duties. • Mentor and coach staff members. • Manage performance of assigned staff, conduct evaluations, and contribute to promotion and advancement decisions. • Collaborate with other firms to pursue opportunities and manage subconsultant contracts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required. • 8+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering with a focus on water/wastewater design. • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for job‑related communications. • Ability to manage clients and develop new business. • Excellent communication skills.
