About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee and perform general maintenance for a high‑complexity multi‑unit residential property. Responsibilities include supervising staff, repairing and maintaining mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems, and ensuring the property remains safe and functional. • Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, handling hiring, discipline, performance appraisals, training, and communication. • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including HVAC systems; diagnose issues, disassemble, clean, lubricate, and replace parts. • Perform or assign carpentry tasks such as door installation, doorjamb repairs, molding, hinges, closers, locks, knobs, plus drywall, plaster, and painting. • Inspect and test electrical systems, replace faulty switches, lamps, and ballasts, and ensure proper lighting and wiring. • Unclog sinks and toilets, repair faucets and assemblies, replace washers, pipes, and fountains, and address other plumbing issues. • Create specifications, solicit and negotiate bids, and manage contracts with vendors and contractors according to established processes. • Provide a full benefits package to employees.

What You Bring

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3–4 years of commercial or multi‑unit property maintenance experience preferred. Candidates with 5–7 years of experience may offset the educational requirement. Preferred certifications include HVAC, electrical, appliance handling, and a valid driver’s license, depending on property needs.
