About the Role

The Cleaner works the second shift, Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, reporting to the Custodial Manager or Supervisor. The role involves performing a range of custodial duties for C&W Services in line with established standards, instructions, and procedures. Daily responsibilities include maintaining clean floors, surfaces, furniture, windows, and restrooms, as well as managing trash removal and replenishing supplies. Periodic tasks such as high‑dusting, polishing leather and wood, and snow removal from walkways are also performed as needed. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and other surfaces using manual or commercial equipment. • Operate light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and perform periodic high‑dusting. • Clean interior windows, glass doors, partitions, and specified exterior windows. • Maintain restrooms: wipe glass, empty waste baskets, service dispensers, dust sills, clean tiles, and mop/scrub floors. • Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and place waste in approved containers for removal. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights. • Remove snow from steps, walkways, and sidewalks as directed. • Perform periodic tasks including high‑dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing.

Benefits

Compensation for the role ranges from $13.18 to $15.50 per hour, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package that may include health, vision, dental, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, and life and disability insurance.
