About the Role
The on‑site Project Leader is responsible for planning, executing, and completing assigned projects safely and cost‑effectively, handling tasks such as hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and project closeout. Financial accountability includes managing project costs, billing, collections, and actively pursuing change orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Project execution involves adhering to established design and programming standards, communicating technical details to customers and subcontractors, procuring and scheduling materials, overseeing subcontractor performance and warranty execution, and delivering accurate as‑built and commissioning documentation. The leader also mentors technicians, installers, and designers, provides technical assistance, and reports project status, revenue forecasts, and gross margin to management. • Lead on‑site projects from planning through closeout, ensuring safety and cost‑effectiveness. • Design hardware, program systems, and coordinate installations and network commissioning. • Manage project finances: budgets, billing, collections, and pursue change orders. • Communicate technical and business issues with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams. • Ensure compliance with authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) regulations and Johnson Controls standards. • Oversee subcontractor performance, payment processes, and warranty execution. • Coach and mentor technicians, installers, and designers; provide technical assistance. • Procure, schedule, and track materials using web‑based tools and manage vendor relationships. • Produce accurate as‑built and commissioning documentation and conduct owner/operator training. • Maintain long‑term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

What You Bring
Candidates for the LSS I role must have at least a technical associate degree and two years of field experience (or four equivalent years), with hands‑on experience in access‑control, fire, video, or related systems and appropriate licensing or certifications. LSS II candidates require a minimum of four years of field experience (or six equivalent years) and possess the same technical background, along with strong independent work capability and solid computer and project accounting skills.
