About the Role
Under general supervision, the technician provides preventive maintenance services and conducts inspections, diagnoses, and repairs on compactors and containers. Work is performed with limited supervision, following written instructions and established procedures. Responsibilities include repairing electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems, using computer‑based diagnostics to identify failure modes, estimating time and material costs, requisitioning parts, and completing required paperwork. The role also handles emergency breakdown service calls, conducts safety checks, and ensures all tasks are completed within Standard Repair Times. • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on compactors and containers. • Repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. • Use computer electronics to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs. • Estimate time and material costs, requisition parts, and complete required paperwork. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and conduct safety checks. • Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards.

What You Bring
The candidate must have at least two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be 18 years or older, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. Successful applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination and be able to meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodations. The work environment involves frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and handling objects of varying weight, as well as exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes. Benefits
The position offers a base pay of $33 per hour and follows a Monday‑Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Compensation is $33 per hour, with the final rate influenced by experience, education, training, certifications, and location.
