About the Role
The HVAC Technician 2 delivers portable HVAC equipment to customers, ensuring safe installation, operation, and training of authorized operators. The role also maintains a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, prepares and tests returned equipment, and supports senior technicians on larger jobs. Technicians are on call for emergency service and follow all safety policies while operating company vehicles. • Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Deliver, install, and train users on rented HVAC equipment, ensuring safe operation. • Obtain customer signatures and track equipment serial numbers for accurate records. • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, checking operation, specifications, and controls. • Safely operate company vehicle and adhere to all safety policies. • Clean, test, and prepare returned equipment to meet operational and appearance standards. • Complete required paperwork for all deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls. • Install flexible gas hoses for propane and natural‑gas applications and verify proper connections. • Remain on rotating on‑call schedule for emergency service, including weekends and evenings.

What You Bring
Applicants need 1‑2 years of service‑related experience, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and a valid clean driver’s license. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and be willing to work occasional after‑hours and weekend shifts, especially during peak periods. Strong communication skills are required to coordinate deliveries, pick‑ups, and service calls with customers, managers, and sales engineers. • Possess 1‑2 years of customer‑facing service experience and basic math skills. • Be mechanically inclined with a valid clean driver’s license and be at least 21 years old. • Ability to work occasional after‑hours and weekend shifts during peak periods.

The position pays between $21.38 and $30.72 per hour, with the exact rate based on location, experience, and training.
