About the Role

• Lead planning, design, and execution of municipal water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and site‑servicing projects for public and private clients. • Guide multidisciplinary teams through conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases, ensuring excellence and innovation. • Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor from project initiation to completion. • Coordinate with municipal, utility, and regulatory agencies to secure approvals and keep projects on schedule. • Manage budgets, schedules, scope, and quality to deliver predictable, successful outcomes. • Perform site inspections and provide technical oversight during construction activities. • Mentor emerging professionals within the Calgary municipal design practice. • Contribute to proposal development, including scope definition, fee estimation, and RFP response strategy.

What You Bring

• Possess 10–15+ years of municipal infrastructure experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an active P.Eng. designation in Alberta. • Demonstrate proven leadership of complex municipal projects and multidisciplinary technical teams. • Have strong knowledge of Alberta municipal processes, permitting pathways, and infrastructure standards; mountain‑region experience is a plus. • Experience designing water, sanitary, stormwater, and roadway systems; PMP certification is an asset. • Hold a valid driver’s licence and be prepared for site‑based work as required.
