About the Role

The Land Surveyor position in Dubai focuses on field work for infrastructure projects. You will plan, organize, and direct surveying activities that determine precise locations, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction, mapping, and land division purposes. The role involves researching historical survey records, developing new data from photogrammetric sources, establishing survey control, locating rights-of-way and property boundaries, and managing documentation. You will also coordinate critical projects, compute and plat survey data, and oversee contracts, permits, and the approval of plats and sites. • Plan, organize and direct field surveying to capture precise location and elevation data. • Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, and other records to support new surveys. • Develop new survey data from photogrammetric records and establish survey control methods. • Locate rights‑of‑way, topographic features, property lines, corners and boundaries on site. • Coordinate regional control surveys and manage a document management system for historical records. • Approve permits for temporary removal or destruction of survey corners. • Draft, check, file and distribute field survey maps depicting survey results. • Coordinate complex projects using electronic measuring instruments and large teams. • Compute and plat survey data for project documentation. • Develop procedures and specifications for statewide survey contracts and administer approvals. • Approve right‑of‑way and electronic communication plats and sites for technical accuracy.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil or survey engineering and have at least eight years of land‑surveying experience on landscape, parks, streetscape, and earthworks projects. Required knowledge includes surveying procedures, engineering formulas, CAD drafting, and the use of electronic measuring instruments, along with strong written and oral communication and proven leadership ability.
