About the Role

The role provides project‑management expertise across electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines for large turnkey electrical construction projects. The manager leads teams of designers, engineers, construction managers and various contractors, primarily in the Southeast or West regions. Key responsibilities include managing scope changes, developing and maintaining project schedules, creating and prioritizing action‑item lists, and producing daily/weekly progress reports. The manager implements financial controls, supports construction estimating and sales, coordinates design teams, improves subcontractor inefficiencies, oversees subcontractor budgets, and ensures a safe work environment through site safety analyses, rigging plans, environmental risk planning, audits, confined‑space programs and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures. Maintaining accurate as‑built documentation and punch‑lists is also required.

What You Bring

Candidates should possess an accredited engineering degree (civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural) or equivalent experience, with at least five years of project‑management experience. Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, strong computer skills (SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and knowledge of power distribution, automation and controls are essential. PMP certification, a collaborative people‑focused attitude, and familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NETA, NERC/FERC, and NESC standards are also required. Applicants must reside in NC, SC, FL, GA, TN, or KY. • BS or AS in civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering or equivalent experience • Minimum of five years of project management experience • Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project scheduling software • Knowledge of electrical SWGR, power distribution, power system engineering, automation, and controls • Strong computer skills: SharePoint, OneNote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint • Must reside in NC, SC, FL, GA, TN, or KY (no relocation offered) • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, NETA, NERC/FERC, and NESC standards • Highly organized with strong time‑management skills • Background in construction
