About the Role

As a Plant Maintenance Technician you will keep the plant operating at peak performance, maintaining equipment such as balers, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, pulleys, shafts, and bearings. You will respond quickly to system failures, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to ensure safe and efficient operations, reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager. The position works Monday‑Friday on the afternoon shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am) with stable hours and overtime as needed. You may be required to work nights or weekends to meet operational demands. • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide range of equipment (balers, conveyors, hydraulic packs, motors, compressors, forklifts, etc.). • Conduct daily equipment inspections, maintain inspection backlogs, and adjust work to meet production schedules. • Inspect third‑party repairs, recommend equipment and process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and OSHA standards. • Work with limited supervision, multitask, and respond to emergency breakdown calls.

What You Bring

The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, being over 18, legal eligibility to work in the U.S., and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting over 50 lb and working at heights. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; must be 18+, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and pass drug screen and physical. • Physical requirements include lifting >50 lb, climbing ladders/raised platforms, standing on concrete floors, and exposure to noisy, dirty, outdoor environments.
