About the Role
The Manufacturing Worker I assembles and installs components on commercial HVAC units in a production environment. This entry‑level role supports the manufacturing process by contributing to the timely and accurate completion of products, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting team‑based production goals. Work is performed in a fast‑paced, hands‑on setting that requires attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. The role involves assembling components, interpreting technical documents, coordinating with production staff, ensuring quality, handling materials, maintaining housekeeping, reporting issues, adhering to safety protocols, and meeting production targets. • Assemble and install sub‑assembly components on HVAC units per specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and order forms to verify parts. • Communicate with production team to maintain workflow and accuracy. • Perform visual and functional quality checks on parts and assemblies. • Move materials and finished products to designated areas using proper handling methods. • Maintain a clean and organized work area following housekeeping and safety practices. • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or material shortages to supervisors promptly. • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards. • Use hand and power tools to fasten, cut, or shape components. • Install insulation, wiring, or ductwork. • Operate basic machinery or assembly equipment. • Complete production documentation and checklists. • Learn and adapt to new processes and equipment. • Frequently stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the shift. • Use hands and arms for assembly, tool handling, and material movement. • Perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency. • Maintain visual acuity to inspect parts and read instructions. • Interact with moving machinery and forklift traffic. • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred. The position requires physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lb, stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the shift, and use hands and arms for assembly and tool handling. Workers must maintain visual acuity for inspections and follow safety practices. The work environment is an indoor factory where employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and chemical fumes, and interact with moving machinery and forklift traffic.
