About the Role

The role of MDDU CBRN Operations Administration and Logistics Coordinator supports the Mission Design and Development Program (MDDP) for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear detection, ensuring logistical and administrative excellence across the United States. • Tailor CBRN products and services to local constraints and environments. • Develop and support implementation of MDDP CBRN deployment plans and strategies. • Interface with DHS toolsets such as ArcGIS and HSIN for data and knowledge management. • Manage MDDP tasking systems, operational requests, and deployment data. • Support document development, strategic planning, and policy implementation for CBRN detection operations. • Identify training requirements and create MDDP training and exercise documentation systems. • Administer property management, including fleet and equipment inventory, with travel to sites nationwide. • Produce operational support products (CONOPs, SOPs, job aids, brochures, handbooks) and identify related training needs.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold an active Secret security clearance (or higher) and be able to obtain DHS suitability. The position requires extensive experience in CBRN detection, radiological and nuclear training, and familiarity with related equipment and reporting. Travel up to 20 % of the month may be required, including back‑to‑back trips lasting more than a week, to various MDDP locations throughout the contiguous United States and territories. • Hold an active Secret security clearance (or higher) and be eligible for DHS suitability. • Possess at least 10 years experience in radiological and nuclear detection and training, including CBRN exercises. • Skilled with mobile/portable radiation detection systems, personal radiation detectors, and radiological isotope identification devices. • Excellent verbal and written communication for situation reports, after‑action reports, and monthly reports. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, audiovisual equipment, and computer applications. • Completed Radiation Worker training and experienced handling radioactive materials. • Travel up to 20% of time within the contiguous U.S. and territories, including back‑to‑back week‑long trips.
