About the Role
The position is a full‑time office role, but may require occasional weekend, night, or outdoor work at construction sites and live‑track environments in various weather conditions. Field assignments can occur in urban, rural, or isolated locations, with accommodations and transportation provided when needed. • Perform project management duties, including handling project information, documentation, and file maintenance. • Process design, product, and construction documents to meet deadlines and advance projects. • Track documents, product submittals, requirement verification reports, and other project paperwork. • Document project schedule activity, including start, finish, percent complete, and major milestones. • Coordinate material deliveries to job sites and follow up on discrepancies, delays, or variances. • Track and report production quantities and equipment utilization. • Develop innovative processes and procedures to improve delivery schedules. • Support construction, quality control, testing, and other time‑sensitive deliverables. • Apply, interpret, and understand contract law and terminology. • Field work primarily on and around live track (trains).

What You Bring
The internship provides hands‑on experience supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and design projects. Working under project managers and senior staff, the intern assists with documentation, scheduling, progress tracking, and resource coordination to help keep projects on time and within scope. The role offers exposure to multiple phases of project management while building professional skills in organization, communication, and problem‑solving. • Enrolled in a related field such as Engineering, Contract Management, or Project Management. • Understand general concepts of project management. • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with proper grammar and punctuation. • Exhibit strong client‑relation, influencing, and organizational skills. • Maintain strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. • Occasional exposure to outdoor construction sites in all weather conditions.
