About the Role
The Field Associate – Event Ground Protection role supports the heavy access and event flooring businesses, performing general labor and functional support under the direction of a Yard Foreman, General Foreman, or Profit Center Manager. The position involves safely handling equipment, responding to customer and employee inquiries, and adhering to Sunbelt’s safety culture. Travel, including overnight stays and weekend assignments, may be required. • Perform general labor and support event ground protection operations. • Follow direction of Yard Foreman, General Foreman, or Profit Center Manager. • Repair mechanical equipment and apply mechanical aptitude. • Use MS Office Suite for documentation and communication. • Communicate effectively with customers and employees. • Apply basic math for calculations. • Uphold safety policies and perform physically demanding tasks (bending, lifting 25 lb+).

What You Bring
Candidates should have experience or training in mechanical equipment repair, a solid mechanical aptitude, and basic math skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and strong communication abilities are essential. The role demands physical activity such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 25 lb or more, performed indoors or outdoors as needed. • Travel out of town with overnight stays, including weekends.

Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $21.57 per hour, with the exact rate depending on location, education, training, and experience.
