About the Role

A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver ensures the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before each shift, follows all state and federal regulations while operating, and completes daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) to address any defects promptly. Each day the driver conducts thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reads the route sheet, and follows maps to service assigned customers. While on the route the driver lifts and loads refuse, operates the compactor, disposes of material at the designated facility, and monitors waste for compliance, tagging unsatisfactory containers and cleaning accidental spills according to safety policies. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Operate the collection truck safely along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing waste. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as scheduled. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers; monitor waste for violations. • Clean accidental waste spills and vehicle components according to safety standards. • Complete route, productivity, and other required reports. • Adhere to productivity standards and participate in the ReSOP safety program.

Strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities are essential, as is adherence to all company policies and a commitment to safety and pride in one’s work. • Hold a valid Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement. • Demonstrate strong customer‑service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills.
