About the Role

The position focuses on the installation, assembly, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and turbine components. The employee will use hand and power tools, hoists, cranes, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment to measure, cut, move, and secure machinery, perform precision alignment, and conduct lubrication and repairs. Work is performed at heights up to 80 m and includes responsibilities such as receiving major components, installing loose parts, and assisting with crane assembly and teardown. • Measure, cut, and install using hand tools and ladders • Dismantle machines with hand tools • Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks • Assemble and install equipment (shafting, conveyors, tram rails) using hand and power tools • Align machines and equipment with hoists, jacks, squares, rulers, lasers, micrometers, and plumb bobs • Assemble machines using bolts, welds, rivets, and fasten to foundations • Operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn parts to specifications • Set, level, and align engines, motors, generators, conveyors, elevators, monorails, train rails, and trolley beams • Clean, repair, and adjust jacks, chainfalls, pull‑lifts, block and tackles, impact wrenches, chipping hammers, rivet guns, air drills, and precision torque/tension equipment • Operate cranes, forklifts, hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools • Receive and offload major components • Install loose components for nacelle, hub, and tower preparation • Connect blades to hub • Handle taglines • Assist with main erection crane assembly and teardown • Climb ladders up to 80 m • Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels • Read and interpret safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Provide positive attitude and professional customer service • Maintain detail orientation • Apply active listening and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback

What You Bring
