Perform custodial cleaning duties in buildings, including floors, restrooms, and trash.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces. • Operate light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces; perform periodic high dusting. • Wash interior windowsills, glass in doors, partitions, and specified windows; clean glass and trim at entrance doors. • Spot‑clean interior walls daily as appropriate. • Clean and restock bathrooms, including wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and paper dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, stalls, and scrubbing floors. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functioning lights. • Collect building trash daily, replace liners in waste baskets and containers, and place trash for removal. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances, walkways, and sidewalks as directed. • Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing.

What You Bring
No prior cleaning experience is required. The successful candidate must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team. Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment, maintain attention to detail, and demonstrate high energy and endurance are essential.

Benefits
Compensation for this role ranges from $19.81 to $23.30 per hour and will not be less than the applicable minimum wage. Eligible employees may enroll in a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, flexible spending, health savings, retirement, life and disability insurance, as well as paid and unpaid time off. Pay rates may vary based on location, hire date, hours, job type, business line and collective bargaining agreements.
