About the Role

• Lead and set strategic/technical direction for the civil engineering practice on DoD projects. • Oversee interdisciplinary coordination and ensure compliance with DoD design standards. • Build, mentor, and grow a civil engineering team serving U.S. military clients. • Manage civil/site design projects, including federal procurement methods (DBB, DB, ECI) under FAR regulations. • Utilize civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HEC‑RAS, and InfoDrainage. • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, permitting procedures, and codes. • Travel to job sites as required.

We are seeking a Director of Civil Engineering to lead our Civil Engineering Department in Jacksonville, FL, with relocation assistance for out‑of‑area candidates. Reporting as a senior leader, you will set the strategic and technical direction of the firm’s civil engineering practice on DoD projects, ensuring compliance with DoD‑specific design standards and coordinating interdisciplinary teams.
