About the Role
The Associate Director Civil Engineer role is a senior position within AECOM’s Defence Infrastructure team in Western Australia. The incumbent will lead the company’s defence market strategy, driving client engagement, expanding regional capabilities, and supporting strategic pursuits across defence design and consulting services. In this role you will collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists on defence infrastructure projects, leverage existing networks and build new relationships within defence and partner circles, and contribute to the client account management strategy. You will also mentor emerging talent, support quality and service delivery initiatives, and champion innovative digital solutions to improve project outcomes. • Lead AECOM’s defence market strategy in Western Australia • Drive client engagement and expand regional capabilities • Support strategic pursuits across defence design and consulting services • Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists on infrastructure projects • Leverage and grow networks within defence and partner communities • Contribute to client account management strategy and mentor emerging talent • Champion innovative digital solutions to enhance client value

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a civil engineering degree or equivalent, has a proven track record of managing complex projects, and extensive experience in Australian defence infrastructure with the necessary security clearances.
