About the Role
The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on designated transfer routes, adhering to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while keeping the vehicle clean and safe. Key duties include conducting pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), reporting unsafe situations, unloading and properly positioning containers, completing required documentation and tickets, and communicating customer requests to dispatch. The role also involves participating in training sessions, collaborating with Operations Managers to enhance route efficiency, and assisting other drivers as needed. • Operate heavy‑duty truck on assigned transfer routes safely and in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues promptly. • Unload, position, and secure containers, ensuring sites are left clean and debris‑free. • Complete all required documentation, tickets, and route assignments, and communicate customer requests to dispatch. • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and safety meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe conditions.

What You Bring
Qualifications require a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and a minimum age of 18, along with successful completion of a DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and an acceptable driving record. No specific education or prior experience is required. • Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and be at least 18 years old. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical exam, background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
