About the Role
The Virtual Construction Engineer supports project teams by developing virtual construction content for project pursuits and executing the virtual construction plan during the design and construction phases. This role involves creating visualizations, coordinating models, and applying advanced technology to improve project communication and coordination. • Create visual and VDC content to illustrate project sequencing, logistics, and proposals. • Develop project‑specific virtual construction plans during pre‑construction/design. • Review, analyze, and coordinate design team models. • Document existing conditions using laser scanning, drones, and 360° photography. • Produce VR/AR experiences to clarify and communicate project scope. • Support the Underground Utility Damage Prevention program. • Lead model‑based MEP and building enclosure coordination on construction sites. • Verify that coordinated work meets installability, safety, and quality standards. • Capture and analyze jobsite progress with laser scanning, drones, and 360° imaging. • Ensure execution of the virtual construction plan through site visits and schedule alignment. • Build and maintain relationships with design teams, trade partners, and integrated service teams. • Contribute to company BIM goals and drive innovative technology solutions.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in BIM, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. • 0‑3 years of experience with a general contractor preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Navisworks. • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Self‑motivated and capable of working independently and in teams. • High attention to detail.
