About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program—including corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and contributes to the make‑ready process to meet the community’s operational objectives. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders. • Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance in common areas, buildings, and units. • Execute make‑ready tasks and assist with unit turn events. • Maintain and clean exterior grounds, breezeways, swimming pool, and common areas, logging chemicals accurately. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Follow Asset’s policies, safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and hazard communication program. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and record service requests, preventive maintenance, and make‑ready status. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and additional tasks assigned by supervisors. • Meet physical demands including climbing ladders, lifting 100+ lb objects, and working in various weather conditions; maintain reliable transportation.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess basic computer skills, and understand Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.
