About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. Drivers operate vehicles in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining a clean and safe truck. They complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report any unsafe situations or service calls immediately to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Participation in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings is required, and drivers collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts. Additional duties include assisting other drivers, notifying management of incidents or property damage, communicating customer requests, fully dumping containers while leaving sites clean, completing customer tickets for excess yardage, properly positioning containers, and completing all route documentation at the end of the day. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely following OSHA, DOT, and all regulatory requirements. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and document findings on the DVIR. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch promptly. • Participate in mandatory training, briefings, and meetings and collaborate to improve route efficiency. • Assist other drivers as directed and communicate customer requests or issues to dispatch. • Fully empty containers, clean the site, position containers properly, and submit customer tickets for excess yardage. • Complete all route assignments and submit required documentation at the end of each shift.

What You Bring
Education: none required; experience: none required. A Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL) is mandatory, and applicants must be at least 18 years old, have an acceptable driving record, and successfully complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. The role may require travel by air or access to federal property; therefore, candidates must possess a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative, or be willing to obtain one. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class B, be at least 18 years old, and maintain an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical examination, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
