About the Role

The Project Manager will plan, direct and coordinate designated projects to ensure goals are met within the established schedule and budget. Responsibilities are carried out personally or through Superintendents and Project Coordinators, encompassing proposal review, work‑plan development, staffing, budgeting, client communication and regulatory coordination. • Review project proposals, plans and specifications to determine timeframe, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allocation. • Establish work plans, schedules and staffing for each project phase and recruit or assign personnel as needed. • Build and maintain a network of business associates, subcontractors and vendors. • Confer with team leaders or project staff to outline work plans, assign duties and define scope of authority. • Coordinate activities with project staff to ensure budget compliance and provide technical advice to resolve problems. • Negotiate with owners and subcontractors to maintain efficient project execution. • Manage actual billings and collaborate with Finance for smooth processing. • Prepare project reports for management and clients, and adjust schedules or plans as required. • Coordinate project activities with governmental regulatory agencies. • Work with Project Superintendents, Project Assistants, clients and subcontractors. • Supervise Project Assistants, including planning, assigning work, providing feedback and appraising performance. • Assist in proposal writing and review project documents for timeframe, funding and resource allocation. • Mentor and develop internal talent. • Establish and maintain relationships with owners and other project partners. • Support strategic planning and lead business development and client relations. • Assist the Safety Department in enforcing corporate safety and health policies. • Stand or sit in a stationary position for extended periods (50%+). • Navigate office building floors and attend off‑site meetings.

What You Bring

The role demands physical endurance, including prolonged standing or sitting, regular computer use, occasional off‑site meetings and the ability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted. Travel may range from 25 % to 75 % of the time, and a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor‑vehicle record is required. • Read and understand drawings and specifications. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. • Minimum 5 years related experience, including 3 years in construction project management of water/wastewater treatment facilities. • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and provide exemplary customer service. • Strong time management and productivity skills. • Compliance with company policies and procedures. • High work ethic and adherence to company values and conduct standards. • Confidence in self and others; openness to feedback. • Ability to inspire and motivate teams. • Problem‑identification and resolution with focus on continuous improvement. • Knowledge of ViewPoint software. • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record and adherence to KA Motor Vehicle Policy. • Travel 25‑75% depending on job. • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally to colleagues and stakeholders. • Use computer/laptop/iPad in an office environment. • Lift up to 25 lb unassisted.
