About the Role

The Director, HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner to the Customer Revenue organization, supporting a global go‑to‑market team of about 3,000 employees. Reporting within the People Team, the role acts as a trusted advisor to SVP‑level leaders on talent strategy, inclusion, retention and organizational effectiveness. It coordinates business feedback to HR Centers of Excellence and drives adoption of People Team initiatives across the enterprise. • Champion the People Team operating model and support large‑scale workforce transformations and organizational design. • Design and execute talent strategies, including assessments, reward allocation, succession planning, and senior‑leader hiring. • Drive change adoption through robust communication, employee‑engagement initiatives, and enterprise messaging. • Use data insights to diagnose organizational dynamics, inform root‑cause analysis, and guide leader action planning on engagement, health and DIB metrics. • Role‑model and reinforce Equinix’s culture, values and desired behaviors across the business.

What You Bring

• Bring 15+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years as a Global Business Partner in a technology‑focused, global organization. • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leaders, especially in go‑to‑market functions, and leading complex global transformations. • Proven expertise in organizational design, change management, and driving organizational effectiveness. • Strong ability to synthesize data, tell compelling stories and influence decision‑makers. • Broad knowledge across all HR disciplines and a bias toward action in fast‑paced environments.

Benefits

This backfill position offers a target base salary ranging from CAD 166,000–248,000 in Toronto, USD 177,000–265,000 in Denver, and USD 195,000–293,000 in Ashburn, with additional bonus and equity potential. Compensation reflects role level, location and experience, and is reviewed periodically to align with market and business needs.
