About the Role

The Area Sales Manager oversees sales performance and margin enhancement for an assigned region, builds and leads a high‑performing sales team, and collaborates closely with the division’s operating team to meet goals on schedule. • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to achieve performance targets. • Support the Director of Sales and Marketing with sales‑related tasks and divisional objectives. • Implement sales goals and training programs aligned with divisional targets. • Guide New Home Consultants on sales techniques to boost performance and customer satisfaction. • Coordinate New Home Consultants with other team members to ensure timely closings. • Track escrow activity and produce accurate sales reports in compliance with regulations. • Review paperwork for regulatory compliance and liaise with escrow companies and lenders. • Represent the division at promotional events and sales meetings, reporting relevant issues to management. • Handle confrontational situations objectively with associates, homeowners, and the public.

What You Bring

The role requires regular in‑person attendance at job sites and offices, the ability to work more than eight hours daily in a construction trailer, and physical capability to lift, climb, and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. • Maintain at least 5 years of residential sales, management, or real‑estate experience. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. • Possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance coverage. • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
