About the Role
Perform all duties required to maintain basic shipping operations, including loading and unloading trucks with a forklift, delivering material to the production floor, and making accurate SAP transactions. To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The role also requires operating press brakes or laser bending cells to shape ferrous and non‑ferrous material, working safely to prevent injuries, and promptly reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor. Employees must provide efficient, quality‑focused service while working from catalog numbers and various reports, and use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, overhead hoists, and assorted hand tools. • Load and unload flatbed trucks, vans, containers, and various materials safely. • Communicate directly with carriers, internal and external customers. • Take photos and maintain an archive of truckload shipments. • Perform all material handling, lifting, and packaging while following the shipping schedule and processing shipments. • Process and match shipping paperwork, special requirements, and materials in SAP to ensure accuracy. • Manage daily expedite requests from marketing, purchasing, and manufacturing. • Maintain a safe and clean work area in accordance with factory standards. • Process paperwork daily for scanning in SAP; retain hard copies in department files. • Conduct required cycle counts, inventory processes, and E&O processes.

What You Bring
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, and possess at least one year of forklift operation experience in a shipping/receiving environment. Ability to process parcel shipments is also required. • Perform consistent lifting (no more than 50 lbs at a time without lift assist).
