About the Role
The role provides direct supervision for production employees, participates in staffing and performance decisions, and champions a zero‑incident safety culture. It drives plant‑wide continuous improvement, maintains departmental records, schedules, and manpower plans, and ensures production schedules align with carrier pick‑up times, labor constraints and material supplies. The supervisor monitors productivity, quality, and attendance, and engages teams in LEAN initiatives such as standard work, 5S, pull systems, empowered work teams, and structured problem solving. • Supervise production employees and participate in hiring, staffing, and performance decisions. • Implement and support a behavioral‑based zero‑incident safety culture. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. • Maintain departmental records on productivity, quality, attendance, and schedules. • Develop and adjust manpower and production schedules to meet or exceed plan. • Prioritize site‑wide production schedules based on carrier pickups, labor, and material availability. • Monitor productivity to ensure quality and production targets are met. • Lead LEAN activities, including standard work, 5S, pull systems, empowered teams, and problem solving. • Coach, motivate, and counsel employees for optimal performance and skill development. • Communicate and enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines. • Collaborate with other departments to expedite workflow and maintain quality standards.

What You Bring
The position requires strong communication, coaching, and counseling skills to develop employees, enforce company policies, and coordinate with other departments to expedite workflow. Candidates must meet minimum experience and eligibility criteria, and be able to work overtime, lift 35 lb, and stand for extended periods. • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • High School Diploma or GED required. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Must reside within 50 miles of Woodridge, IL (military candidates exempt). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work daily/weekend overtime and flex to different areas as needed. • Ability to lift 35 lb and stand for extended periods.
