About the Role
The technician will conduct laboratory testing on construction materials, follow safety and QA/QC protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure lab organization and cleanliness to meet accreditation standards. ECS supports professional development by encouraging participation in internal and external training programs and offering certification opportunities through ASTM or other organizations. • Perform laboratory tests on construction materials under supervision. • Conduct soil tests such as Atterberg limits, gradation, moisture content, and proctor testing. • Calibrate, maintain, and report issues with laboratory equipment. • Follow QA/QC standards to keep the lab organized and accredited. • Record test results, perform calculations, and handle related administrative duties. • Lift and move materials up to 50 lb as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be willing to obtain and maintain laboratory certifications for soils, be able to lift at least 50 pounds, possess a valid driver’s license and insurance, demonstrate strong communication skills, and work effectively with peers and supervisors.
