About the Role

The position requires field testing and quality‑assurance activities for concrete, aggregates, and soils on wind and solar project foundations and access roadways. Candidates must be able to read plans, perform calculations, document results, and communicate effectively with project teams and clients. • Above and Beyond – anticipate company needs, take initiative, assist others. • Perform quality‑assurance tasks for renewable energy construction, including field inspection and sampling of concrete, aggregates, and soils. • Inspect reinforced steel for wind turbine foundations and ensure compliance with plans and specifications. • Conduct field testing of concrete, aggregates, and soils in outdoor environments, handling heavy equipment and uneven terrain. • Perform calculations, data reduction, and documentation of test results. • Use in‑house software to report test results. • Read maps, follow directions, and interpret engineering and construction plans. • Identify onsite issues and collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to develop solutions.
