About the Role

In this role you will contribute to the full product lifecycle, from reviewing customer specifications to generating engineering documentation and ensuring smooth hand‑off to production. You will work closely with plant engineering, supply chain and the broader engineering team to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. • Design electrical systems and components • Develop and test prototypes • Collaborate with the engineering team • Troubleshoot electrical issues • Provide technical support to team members • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget • Examine customer‑supplied documents to develop harmonized solutions • Conduct thorough order reviews for accuracy and compliance • Create engineering documents (drawings, one‑line, foundation, wire list, BOM) for customer approval • Coordinate with plant engineering teams for smoother project execution • Support production issues to ensure timely delivery to the customer

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is an energetic self‑starter who thinks strategically, organizes work efficiently and collaborates well with others. A strong grasp of Schneider’s ETO equipment, engineering tools and agile problem‑solving is essential. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred) and proven experience with control schemes, PLCs, relays, and electrical testing are required. Knowledge of Modbus, TCP/IP, RS‑485, Ethernet and utility metering, as well as familiarity with Schneider’s order‑editor tools, is expected. • Strive for value‑added solutions and identify quick wins (agile thinking) • Be well organized and a self‑starter who works well with people • Possess strong knowledge of electrical concepts around Schneider Electric’s ETO equipment • Use Schneider engineering tools such as order editor, See PM, See electrical, ACE, and ACE Test • Have advanced technical experience within the ETO product portfolio • Willingness to travel at least 25% domestically and internationally • Hold a bachelor’s (or master’s) degree in electrical engineering • Experience designing control schemes and utilizing PLCs/relays for efficient solutions • Experience creating, testing, and troubleshooting electrical schemes • Experience with Modbus communications, utility metering, and circuit monitoring applications • Familiarity with Modbus, TCP/IP, RS‑485, Ethernet and other third‑party interfaces
