About the Role

The Maintenance Assistant role launches a career in maintenance and engineering at JLL. Working under supervision, the assistant supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment in assigned facilities. This entry‑level position offers a Monday‑Friday schedule (8:00 AM‑4:30 PM) at an on‑site location in Washington, DC, and provides opportunities for growth in the engineering field. • Assist engineering team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment • Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting • Complete work orders in CMMS and maintain service documentation • Keep tools, parts, equipment, and supplies clean and safe • Work under direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers, and others • Participate in technical, safety, and operational training programs • Support on‑call or emergency response situations as needed

What You Bring

Successful candidates must be physically capable of handling typical maintenance tasks and demonstrate strong customer service skills.
