Lead Software Engineer, Oracle EPM

About the Role

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Oracle FCCS and EPCM solutions. • Serve as the primary technical SME for FCCS consolidations, ownership, intercompany eliminations, journals, and close processes. • Serve as the primary technical SME for EPCM cost allocation, profitability modeling, drivers, and rule optimization. • Define best practices, standards, and governance for EPM development and deployments. • Design and build metadata (accounts, entities, dimensions, hierarchies). • Develop business rules using Calc Manager and configure data integrations (Data Integration/FDMEE). • Create reports and dashboards with Financial Reporting and Smart View. • Optimize FCCS and EPCM performance, calculation efficiency, and data volumes. • Support enhancements, patches, monthly close cycles, and production issue resolution. • Design and manage integrations between ERP systems (Oracle and non‑Oracle) and FCCS/EPCM. • Automate data loads, validations, reconciliations, and close processes. • Ensure data governance, auditability, and internal controls. • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Finance Transformation, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Collaborate with vendors and system‑integrator partners during implementations or enhancements. • Support month‑end and quarter‑end close cycles and resolve related issues. • Upholds integrity, ethical standards, and promotes workplace diversity.

What You Bring

The Lead Software Engineer for Oracle FCCS & EPCM will own the analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and support of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions, focusing on Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management (EPCM). This role blends deep functional knowledge with strong technical expertise and works closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT stakeholders. The position is primarily sedentary with typical office duties, requires occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs, and involves 10‑20 % travel. Duties and responsibilities may evolve over time, and the role may be performed under Agile or hybrid delivery models. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field. • 8+ years experience with Oracle Hyperion/EPM solutions; 5+ years hands‑on FCCS and EPCM implementations. • Strong expertise in FCCS consolidation logic, eliminations, ownership, and journal processing. • Proficient in EPCM allocation rules, drivers, and profitability modeling techniques. • Hands‑on experience with Calc Manager, Data Integration, and Smart View. • Strong SQL, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills. • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments. • Demonstrates diligence, prompt action, and effective interpersonal relationships. • Self‑motivated, capable of independent work and mentoring junior associates. • Adaptable to shifting priorities, works well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
